Teller Takes Gun From Bank Robber After He Put It On Counter

A man in Australia is on the lam after attempting to rob a bank, but he made a big error by setting his gun on the counter while he put stolen money is his bag.

It’s almost as if this guy was trying to make my dumb criminals list.

According to CF News 13, the man, in his late 40s, came into the bank in the early afternoon brandishing a gun and demanding money.

The teller handed a stack of cash and wonder-crook set his gun on the counter to grab the money and put it in his own bag.

The quick-thinking teller grabbed the gun and the thief took off.

After you threaten someone’s life with a handgun, setting it down on the counter in front of them is probably not you best next move.

Kudos to the teller for taking advantage of the situation.
