Teacher Fired After Saving Kids From Fire

No good deed goes unpunished.

A teacher in Florida was watching over her kids in day care when she walked into the kitchen and noticed a small fire. She ran back, got the kids up from their nap and took them to safety. Rather than waiting for the fire department, she went back inside to make sure all kids were out and took care of the small fire before it turned into a bigger one.

She showed up to work the next day to only get her pink slip. Why did she get fired? Because she left the room, even though the kids were asleep, she left the room and the teachers are always supposed to be there.

I know rules are rules but she saved the day right? Do you think she should have been fired?
