Taste Of Fort Collins Band Spotlight: The Honey Gitters
Join us this weekend for the 15th Annual First National Bank Taste Of Fort Collins at Civic Center Park in Old Town Fort Collins. The festivities go on from 11am-9pm on Saturday and 11am-8pm on Sunday. I present one of the great bands to take the stage, 'The Honey Gitters.'
Chiseled out of stone and coated in a layer of honey these four men descended upon the earth from the heavens like a raging wave of awesome. They were sent
to the four corners of the earth and given one objective: to find one-another and form the most glorious new grass band the universe has ever known in order to melt the faces off of civilization with their magnificent grass-rock.
The Honey Gitters will be taking the stage Sunday, June 12th at 1:30
The members include:
Chachi - Guitar, vocals, 18 cigarettes
Slim - ..Bass, Real Poncho, Fidel Hat
Leland - ..Belly Congas, Croquet Mallet and Wickets
Beard - Banjo, vocals, accordian, left arm, Tetris
The 15th Annual Taste of Fort Collins: Saturday, June 11th 8am to 9pm & Sunday, June 12th 11am to 8pm at Civic Center Park, Old Town Fort Collins. Gate Admission: $5 before 3pm and $10 after 3pm. Children under 12, seniors over 65 and military personnel with ID get in for FREE!
