Taste Of Fort Collins Band Spotlight: Patti Fiasco [VIDEO]

Join us this weekend for the 15th Annual First National Bank Taste Of Fort Collins at Civic Center Park in Old Town Fort Collins.  The festivities run from 11am-9pm on Saturday and 11am-8pm on Sunday.

Aside from all the great food, vendors, crafts, beer, wine, and the Kidz Zone there will be great live music throughout the weekend. We though we would highlight the bands playing and show you why we're so excited they'll be there.

Allow me to introduce you to Patti Fiasco, a western rock band playing Saturday afternoon.

Patti Fiasco is a twangin' rock and roll outfit with roots in Wyoming. Their energy and solid songwriting helped them take the crown at Scene Magazine’s 19th annual Battle of the Bands.

This year, the title of best belongs to The Patti Fiasco. The five-piece western-rock outfit hit Hodi’s with guns ablaze, dousing fans in a bourbon-laced cocktail of gritty country style and fiery outlaw rock. Throw in some sweet-tongued ballads, an unshakable charisma, and a host of very dedicated fans, and there were few other options for first place. [Scene Savvant]

This weekend we all get to experience what Patti Fiasco has to offer at the Taste Of Fort Collins. Check out the video below and you can see why I am so excited to see them on Saturday; Amazing musicians, a little "rock and roll" attitude, and a front woman that is seething with talent and energy (and not too hard on the eyes either).

The band has a 5-song EP which can be purchased on iTunes, Rhapsody, and Amazon.  They also have a full length album in the works that could be available as early as the end of June.

Front woman Alysia Kraft also has an acoustic endeavour called 'The Alysia Kraft Project.' It’s basically Patti Fiasco, acoustic, for those situations that don’t lend themselves to a full 5-piece band.
