The use of tanning beds is one of the many subjects that will be discussed in the Colorado Legislature.

Many states already have limitations on tanning bed use and especially for minors. Colorado, until this point hasn't had any limitations on the use and frequency of using indoor tanning beds.

Some of the limitations we may see would include that minors age 15-18 would need parental permission every 6 months to use an indoor tanning bed. While children 15 and under would need a note from a doctor to be able to use a tanning bed.

The ban has already been aproved by the Colorado House and now moves to full House for further discussion.

The tanning industry has called the limits unnecessary while health advisers suggest that the use of indoor tanning beds should be banned all-together for minors.
