Paying its citizens for bringing in dogie poo!? Taipei, A city in northern Taiwan, is trying to get reluctant dog owners of the city to clean up after their pets. It started August 1, every time someone cleaned up after their dog and gave took it to government cleaning teams they would get a ticket. The ticket enters them into a lottery for a chance to win a gold prize valued at T$60,000or 2,100 dollars.
City officials are hoping that with a prize at stake people will be more willing to clean up pet waste and leave the city cleaner.
Keep in mind the city did try this before in 2009 and it did fail. Although the prize was only a $100 gift card. They hope that with this bigger prize comes more success.

Here is the question, how bad is the puppy pooing problem that the city has to offer dog owners gold bars to clean up after their pets?
