The producers of ‘X Factor‘ are not playing around! Following shakeups with the judges and host, Simon Cowell‘s pet project has been looking into hiring Mariah Carey as a mentor for some time. However, whispers of Beyonce beating Mimi to the spot are growing louder, and Bey’s rumored paycheck is growing bigger. A lot bigger — to the tune of $100 million!

Say it ain’t so, Scherzy! Following the excitement of the ‘X Factor‘ finale this week comes news that Over 30s judge Nicole Scherzinger may not return for season two.

America selected Melanie Amaro as the winner of the first-ever ‘X Factor.’ She edged out Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene, whose elimination was announced earlier this evening.

Rihanna is feeling  the American version of ‘X Factor.’ The pop diva is scheduled to perform on the results episode of the show this week, which airs on Thursday, Nov. 17. This marks RiRi’s second go-round on the show since the debut season kicked off in September.
