The Marshall Wildfire victimized many Colorado families as 2021 ended and 2022 began. Many of those victims were children. One group has started an effort to provide dream bedrooms for as many of those kids as possible and this is their story.

Though a small amount of rainfall has occurred over the last 24 hours, the fire in Grand County, Colorado is still growing and uncontained.

Expect a hazy start to the week.

While the smoky haze over the state is actually from Arizona, as of June 22, there are eight active wildfires in Colorado.

The Mullen Fire is now 6% contained.

The Pine Gulch Fire near Grand Junction was hot enough that it started to produce lightning.

Thankfully, the lake itself has only sustained minor damage so far.

Officials need the public's help to find the cause of the Cameron Peak Fire.

Imagine one fourth of our state completely destroyed in a wildfire — that's the same amount of land Australia has lost to its brush fires.

The Greeley Stampede will also be holding a free community pancake breakfast on October 7th starting at 8am, while supplies last. There will also be other free events for the public to join in, while raising money for a great cause!

I got up yesterday, perfect morning - sunny, just the right temperature.  And probably around 11, in a flash, I heard this wind come up, and all in a sudden the mountains started looking super hazy, and I swear I even smelled forest fire.  I was thinking, "Oh no, not again."
