Colorado is full of unique, natural landmarks, but not many people know that within our state, just about a mile north of I-70, sits Colorado's only active volcano.

One of the biggest stories this week is the volcano that is erupting in Alaska, and it has made people think about the supervolcano in Wyoming.

NASA released an image of what appears to be a massive ice volcano on Pluto.

NASA has begun the year-long isolation of 6 recruits in a dome near a barren volcano in Hawaii to simulate life on Mars. The dome, located on the northern slope of Mauna Loa, measures 36 feet in diameter and 20 feet in height. It will have no fresh air, fresh food, or privacy, and if the recruits have to explore outside the dome, they will have to wear a space suit...

Lurking beneath Yellowstone National Park is a super volcano.  One that hasn't erupted in 600,000 years.  New research shows that the caldera below Yellowstone (which is one of the biggest in the world) is a lot bigger then we previously thought.
