According to 9news, the largest earthquake to strike Colorado in almost 40 years woke up hundred of people southwest of Trinidad last night (About 270 miles south of Fort Collins). The earthquake was recorded around 11:46 p.m. and registered as a magnitude 5.3 quake. It had been preceded by 2 smaller quakes and followed by a handful of smaller aftershocks.
