A waiter at a Colorado restaurant got quite the surprise when a customer left a $1,088 gratuity - only to have it taken away when the diner sobered up.
According to Mashable, a national chain restaurant with many locations throughout the state of Colorado will start experimenting with the "No Tipping Policy" at a few of it's locations throughout the country.
So I felt inclined to write this after reading the latest story of a waitress getting an incredibly large tip. I'm looking forward to the comments on this one.
In the days before the internet, people who were rude to waitstaff and/or didn’t tip properly could go about their shameful lives in relative obscurity.
Welcome to 2011. The rules, they have changed.
