The Wanted

With fellow U.K.-er Victoria Beckham serving as the guest editor of the September issue of Glamour, she was able to put the Wanted in the pages of the women’s mag, since they are fashionable men. The mod-styled spread features the, uh, boys posing with models and looking fine while doing so.

British boy band the Wanted showed a little native pride by performing at the 2012 Summer Olympics Torch Relay in London on Friday night — and they even got all meta on us by covering two songs from another English group, Coldplay.

Looks like the Wanted boys played a joke on group member Max George! They posted a photo of the shaved head singer curled up in a fetal position, passed out and stacking Zs on a couch, with a Blackberry to his side.

The Wanted took the stage at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards to perform their addictive new single ‘Chasing the Sun,’ which is so hot it could live at the center of the sun itself. While they started there, it’s not where they finished, as they turned in a two-song medley which also included their mega smash ‘Glad You Came.’

If you haven't heard, the bands 'The Wanted' and 'One Direction' kind of had a tiff.  Things are a bit hostile because they are both "boy bands" and they are both from across the pond. Well, lets end this little dispute. Who do you think is the better band? The more grown up group, 'The Wanted' or teen heartthrobs, 'One Direction'?

Feud alert! Justin Bieber wasn’t the only person snubbed by Christina Aguilera on ‘The Voice.’ Apparently, the Wanted received similarly snotty treatment from the singer/coach. Xtina must have been having a bad day because her attitude, actions and behavior towards the boys caused them to label her a “b—-.” Wassup with that?

The Wanted. A boy band? Yes. But not the clean cut baby faced boy bands of the 90's.  This boy band is the adult version, with songs full of more mature content. In Britain boy bands have remained a part of pop culture.

The Wanted hit the American breakfast TV circuit today (April 24) to celebrate the release of their self-titled EP in the States.

Brace yourself, ladies. The Wanted will be making a special appearance on ‘American Idol‘ next week, the band confirmed on their official Twitter page.

The Wanted treated their die hard fans to an impromptu acoustic set. It wasn’t in a club or at a venue, though. The guys performed on top of a van! Sounds dangerous, right?

If it wasn’t already copyrighted, we would suggest that the guys from the Wanted change their name to ‘America’s Most Wanted.’ According to the Daily Mail, the ‘Glad You Came’ quintet were recently detained by police officers while shooting a new video in Los Angeles.
