If you lived during the nineties you were probably a fan of grunge rock. I was probably one of it's biggest fans! Bands like Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Someone recently told me that rock was dead. Of course I always knew they were wrong but if you take that side of the argument then just take a look at the sold out crowd for Soundgarden at Red Rocks in the gallery above.
I was and still am a huge grunge fan! To see Alice In Chains reunite with a new singer and the Stone Temple Pilots reunite within a couple years, to me it's like pure awesome! So I am definately going to this show July 18th at Red Rocks! I did get to see Soundgardens final show in Denver around 14 years ago.
Usually when bands get older I think that maybe they should just call it quits. However, I grew up with the Seattle grunge explosion and Soundgarden is one of my favorite bands of all time. So you can say I am ELATED!!! I once even called in to a radio station and got to ask him a question when I was a teenager.
