Something I've always been curious about is why British singers can sound so American when they sing? What happened to the thick accent they use while speaking? My confusion came shortly after watching the last Grammy Awards and even the Oscars when British pop sensation Adele gave her acceptance speech for the latest Bond theme song "Skyfall...

The 2013 Oscars ceremony was rumored a while back to pay tribute to the 50 years of James Bond films by uniting the actors who've played 007 on the stage. Although one of the Oscars producers debunked that rumor not too long after the fact, there was indeed a portion of the show dedicated to the epic franchise.

Adele may have won her fair share of Grammys, but she won her first award at the 2013 Golden Globes tonight for the James Bond theme 'Skyfall.'

Adele is back! Her last album, "21" is the biggest selling album of 2011 and 2012 and this is her first recording done since that album. 'Skyfall' will be the featured song in the upcoming James Bond movie of the same name, which will be released on the 50th anniversary of James Bond 007. Check out the lyrics video of the song below!

Back in November, I was excited to report that a new James Bond film was in the works.  Now, after what seems like forever, the first teaser has been released.

Just because I started watching the James Bond films at #17 (Goldeneye) doesn't mean I haven't had plenty of time to become a fan.  In fact, I was thoroughly disappointed when news came out back in April 2010 that Bond may not return after #22, Quantum of Solace, due to MGM's lack of funds.  Luckily, though, Bond found a way.  Just like he always does.
