Saint Patrick's day

I'm pretty sure you can't make it through St. Patrick's Day without hearing at least three renditions of 'Danny Boy;' somewhere along your day. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is up to you, but this little rendition done by The Muppets makes me smile.

This is an old video and more than likely you have already seen it. I still thought it was fitting for today.  Its a news story about a Leprechaun sitting down in Alabama. I don't know what else to say because I still can't decide if this was a real news story or just a made up one.

We all know that St. Patty's day is a day to dress up in green and drink and be merry and some know the history behind the day. But, the Irish have a whole slew of inspiration quotes, blessings and proverbs for the day, and not just for St. Patty's day, for everyday.
