Rain on a sunny day

So, the other day one of my favorite anomalies happened, a rain storm during a sunny day. I was just doing my daily ritual of sitting on my bum playing video games when I heard the sound of rain. My brain was a bit confused because the sun was shining and barely any clouds in the sky, yet it was pouring.
