The presidential race is heating up, the debates have begun and it's nearly decision time. Well, no good decision can be made on an empty stomach, so let's get cooking... first stop-Hawaii in honor of President Obama.

Maybe Peyton Manning could use a roommate in that new mansion he just bought in Denver. If wants one, I have an idea of someone who may be interested. President Obama seems to be spending a lot of time in Colorado lately, maybe he could stay with Peyton?

Thursday night at the Republican Nation Convention in Tampa, Florida, Clint Eastwood emerged on the stage and revealed himself to be the mystery guest speaker everyone’s been talking about (as if there was any surprise there).

Last week the Obama Campaign announced they would be making a campaign stop in Fort Collins on Tuesday August 28th, details at that time were pretty vague. There will be some closures on the CSU campus and a lot of Fort Collins will be affected by traffic, security and parking in the area. President Obama’s has a campaign stop in Fort Collins tomorrow.  He will be at the Monfort Quad on the campus of Colorado State University. Admission begins at 2 p.m. As of late yesterday afternoon, tickets were still available. I have added a poll to this post.  Please tell us what you think.

Even amidst the stress of an election year, the President proves he's still got his groove!

My personal thoughts, all politics aside, is that having a president with a since of humor in very important for people to connect to him! So I was thrilled to see President Obama on Jimmy Fallon doing this awesome slow jam.

I believe it's important for us to like our president, no matter what side of the fence you are on.  This speech made him a real human, not a government robot.  I hate that it took such a tragedy to see this beautiful human side of our president...
