While Pokemon Go has taken over the lives of Northern Coloradans, businesses have jumped at the opportunity to turn a profit. Now, people are taking advantage of the game to help out their favorite causes.

I know that writing while heated is like grocery shopping while hungry. What I'm saying is going to offend people, even my friends, but this is my two cents.

Stories have been rolling in about users playing the game at some obviously inappropriate places.

Colorado has a mile high obsession with not only beer, but Pokemon Go, as well. Put them together and you get thousands of drunk people meandering through the streets on their phones trying to "catch 'em all."

An easter egg in the game allows users to pick the beloved Pikachu as their first Pokémon.

Until this weekend, Northern Colorado millennials really hadn't stepped foot outside their own breakfast burrito-eating, Harry Potter-reading, video game-playing, Kardashian keeping-up-withing, antisocial lives. Then, Pokemon Go began blowing up their Facebook newsfeeds and changing their lives for the better.
