I am a huge fan of animations and this time of the year (Halloween). So, of course I was going to go see this new movie about monsters living in a hotel! I headed to Metrolux 14 in Loveland to check it out.
When I first saw the trailer for this, I was a little creeped out. It takes a lot for me to be creeped out at horror movies because most of the time they aren't scary. This film did a good job of keeping the creepy factor going.
I am going to start this review off a little bit differently than I normally have, with the following sentence. I expected more out of this film. I remember when I first heard about it, I was a little put off with Kristen Stewart as Snow White. Then the trailers made it look like Charlize Theron was going to be a big part and her role looked awesome! But the film itself was decent but lacking.

I kind of got distracted with the holiday weekend and forgot that yesterday was Monday, but never fear, I am still going to review a movie! I went and saw 'Chernobyl Diaries' because well I was a bit curious about it. The previews made it seem like it is a "found footage" movie, like 'Paranormal Activity' or 'Quarantine' but its not. Sure the camera is very shaky but its not "found
I saw this movie a couple of years ago when it was in the theaters and it simply blew me away. I kind of forgot about it until I saw the 'Avengers' and remembered that Jeremy Renner(Hawkeye) was the main guy in the movie and that I really enjoyed it. I decided to re-watch it and share the awesomeness of this movie with you, just in case you have never heard of it.
I didn't really have time to head to the theater to see a film this weekend but the joy of Movie Review Monday is that it also works with the lesser known films on Netflix and RedBox. Since I couldn't make it to a set time I picked a movie off of my Netflix that I have been wanting to see and that was 'Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil'.
I am going to start off by saying I was very disappointed in this movie. It's from the producer of 'Bridesmaids' and stars Jason Segel and Emily Blunt so I expected non-stop laughs, there wasn't. In fact I was kind of bored through-out the whole film.
