Man struck by train

Officials say the man was hit by a train on Sunday (Sept. 12) near the 37th Street BNSF Railway crossing in Loveland.

Just before 4:00 p.m. this afternoon a man was struck by a south bound train on Mason Street near Mulberry. A witness claims that he saw the man walking toward the train with out any shoes on and proceeded to crawl under the train as it passed and was struck by a box car. Fort Collins Police suspect suicide and are continuing their investigation.
