More frivolous lawsuits…just what the world needs. A man says he was knocked unconscious and suffered serious eye damage after the lid exploded off a jar of fruit and hit him in the face. His lawsuit is against Del Monte Foods and Kroger. The companies say that there is no evidence that the jar was unsafe, but they offered the guy $150,000 to settle out of court.
