These are great reminders that are important to keep you and others safe this July 4th.

Wallet Hub just released its list "The Most Patriotic States In America." How did they decide?  13 criteria having to do with either military or civic engagement. Colorado ranks as the 5th most patriotic state.  Beating us out in that are: #4 South Carolina #3 Wyoming #2 Alaska #1 Virginia So what about the least patriotic states...

Before the beginning of the Annual Indepence Stampede Parade the morning of July 4th, Greeley's local High Schools are holding 5k/1k Walk/Run.

Independence Day is coming up fast, and Northern Colorado has some of the best fireworks displays around. Read on to see where and when your town is lighting the fuses!

If you’re planning on attending Loveland’s Fourth of July Festival, you’ll notice some extra transportation, pedal cabs. Volunteers from the Big Thompson Interact will be pealing the pedal cabs around North Lake Park on Wednesday. The pedal cabs are sent to be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join 99.9 The Point  on July 4th for the 12th annual Firekracker 5K in City Park, Fort Collins. The race features a flat, fast course, post-race refreshments, raffle prizes and an organic cotton T-shirt for everyone. There will also be a free kid’s fun run (appoximately 400 meters) at 9:00 am. for ages 12 and under (no registration necessary).
