Ingrid Michaelson is back with a new song and a new video. The song is called 'Girls Chase Boys' and will be on her new album called "Lights Out" which will hit retailers on April 15th, 2014.
Ingrid Michaelson is quirky, cute and wears cool glasses. She seems down to earth and like you could burp in front of her without judgement. Not how I picture Rihanna. But, my real point here is that while listening to Ingrid Michaelson's 2012 album release "Human Again" a song came on that sounded so much like Rihanna I had to check my ipod for some glitch...
It's Tuesday, so you probably need a good cry. Here, watch this video. It's children from Sandy Hook Elementary performing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' on 'Good Morning America.' The kids recorded the song, with folk musician Ingrid Michaelson, at the home of former Talking Heads members Tina Weymouth and Christ Frantz.
Above, you can watch Ingrid Michaelson's new video for her song, 'Blood Brothers'. It's from her album, "Human Again". It's kind of a cool video where she has her hair and makeup done up to look like: herself, Madonna, John Lennon, Lady Gaga, Gene Simmons, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, and David Bowie.
I have had the privilege to meet Ingrid a couple of times and even drive her around! She is freaking hilarious and she is extremely talented. And with her side project, 'Army of 3', her talent shines even more. So far she has only two videos, but they are amazing covers of Gotye and Rihanna and she does all of the singing and instruments in the videos. It is definitely worth checking out especial

Earlier, Kama posted the link for Sarah McLachlan's 'Wintersong', which in her words, "May cause tears." But here is a different 'Wintersong' that might just stir up those same tears. It was co-written and co-sung by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson.
