Hot Air Balloons

Two hot air balloons had to make a crash landing that miraculously only resulted in minor injuries.

If what happened to this witness happened to me, I'm pretty sure I'd consider it a happy accident. It sounds fun.

You know how traffic at 8:30 in the morning always goes just a little too smoothly, right?  Well, a certain hot air balloon was sure to fix that yesterday!

One quiet Fort Collins neighborhood woke up to a gigantic surprise Sunday morning - and we're not talkin' about the Easter Bunny.

I was fortunate enough to take a ride in a hot air balloon for the Sweetheart Balloon Rally and it was amazing! Our balloon was 'Mountain Breeze' and I would like to thank our pilot, Shannon and the great crew that made this an awesome experience.

The 2011 Sweetheart Balloon Rally is happening this weekend at Old Fairgrounds Park in Loveland (Weather permitting). There will be 15 balloons taking off at sunrise on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and a Balloon Glow on Saturday night. What could make this year's launch even better?
