Only days to go before the Season 6 premiere, Game of Thrones fans aren’t any closer to learning how quickly the series will end, especially as HBO confirmed that spinoffs were out of the question for now. That said, George R.R. Martin still has in mind the perfect choice for an extension of the franchise, which might be better served as a tie-in movie.

You could say that Game of Thrones is a popular television program. People tend to follow its production, from time to time, and speculate on its future, one might suggest. You could also say that Season 6 has some anticipation around it. This epic second trailer for the April premiere would not dissuade this notion. Please, remain calm as you watch.

Earlier today Game of Thrones Season 5 shone a light on over a dozen new photos of the upcoming run, but why stop there? The HBO fantasy drama leaves the world of Westeros behind in its first formal clips of Season 5, along with new photos of Dornish and Lannister characters we’ve yet to meet.

HBO Now is officially on its way, and the company has revealed new details, including a very reasonable subscription price.
