Donna Summer

Disappointment isn’t a strong enough word to explain how we felt when they cut off Natasha Bedingfield’s performance of ‘Last Dance’ by the late Donna Summer. Summer had been an influential part of the music industry for the last 40 years and to have them cut to a commercial before Bedingfield could even finish the first chorus of the song just seemed downright rude.

The nominations for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been released. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N Roses, Donna Summer, Beastie Boys, and The Cure are just a few of the names from the eclectic list of nominated artists. Over 500 voters will receive ballots to vote for the winners, who be inducted into the hall of fame for 2012. Who else is nominated?
