Aerosmith is one of those bands that has spanned many generations. They are known as "America's Rock Band" and "The Bad Boys From Boston" and they formed in 1971. You can see them play at the Pepsi Center on August 1st and you can go if you score tickets with ticket Tuesday.
It wasn’t all that long ago that it seemed like Aerosmith might never record again — but they’re back in the studio, working on their first album of new material in a decade, and they’re giving fans an early behind-the-scenes look at the process.

There is no way American Idol is the end of Aerosmith. I mean let's be honest Simon Cowell jumped off that sinking ship for a reason. People are over it. So a year or two and Steven Tyler won't be hosting the show anyway. But I have to be honest I think collectively for the entire run of Idol I probably have watched it for about five minutes when flipping past it. Not really a big reality TV guy.
