Suspect from Manhunt in Fort Collins Charged

The suspect that terrorized Fort Collins just a week ago, is in the country illegally and has been charged.

As the Coloradoan reported, that along with the attempted murder of peace officer charge, 40-year-old Jose Ornelas-Licano was charged with vehicular eluding and illegal possession of a weapon, both felonies.

Authorities confirmed that Ornelas-Licano is in the country illegally and is listed as being a citizen of Mexico.

Last Friday night, authorities attempted to bring the suspect in on a warrant, and that is when the suspect shot at officers, caused a traffic accident and led law enforcement on a manhunt around Colorado State University.
