Be ready for potential strong storms today in Northern Colorado.
According to the US National Weather Service, the mountains and urban corridor have the potential to see damaging storms between 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday afternoon.
The risk is slight, but storms could produce large hail up to golf ball size, tornadoes, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, and heavy rain that could cause minor street flooding.
