Standoff In Aurora Home Leaves 4 Dead

Early this morning after hours of negotiations police entered a home in Aurora and killed a gunman.

Police discovered three bodies inside the Aurora residence early this morning after barricading the home.

Around 3 a.m. police sent out a reverse 911 call warning neighbors of the situation and some nearby residents were evacuated for safety reasons.

It is also reported that one resident of the home was able to escape by exiting through the 2nd floor window of the house and was then able to inform authorities of the situation.

Names of the victims are have not been released and road closures on Hampden Road have been set in place due to the situation.
