Spiders Delay Flights in Kansas City

Talk about an arachnophobes nightmare.

If you don't like spiders, you may want to stop reading. Spiders delayed 5 flights at the Kansas City International Airport after they infested the Olathe Air Traffic Control Center.

Did they get into the wires and delay them that way? Nope! 3 employees were bitten last week and exterminators were called in and found that all of the spiders likely came from an egg sack that had hatched.

The FAA did not specify the species of the spiders, but they assured that no passengers were in danger.
