Somali Pirates Scared of Brithney Spears Music

Can you really call yourselves pirates if you are scared of some pop music?

Ship crews have found an ingenious way of dealing with pirates trying to take their ships and that is blasting the pop princess.

Why is it working? Because the pirates hate Western culture. So the ships have been blasting good ol' Brit through its speakers to keep the pirates at bay.

"Her songs were chosen by the security team because they thought the pirates would hate them most,” officer Rachel Owens told Time Magazine. "These guys can’t stand Western culture or music, making Britney’s hits perfect."
