Hurricane (now post-tropical storm Sandy) is pummeling the East Coast right now. CNN reports that at least 11 people have lost their lives due to the storm and that number is sure to grow.

Look at these spectacularly heart-wrenching pictures of some of the damage done so far.This gallery came from Light 98.7, one of our sister stations in Utica, New York.

These photos are absolutely terrifying, amazing, unbelievable, and a host of other adjectives.

My thoughts are with the millions of people affected by this storm.

CBS New York is reporting that water is entering the New York Subways, which could take four days or more to pump out once the storm passes.
