A few weeks ago my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to be an extra in a music video. Because I'd be stupid to say no, I said, "HELL YEA!"

That music video would be for Colorado punk band SPELLS and their song "Staying In Is the New Going Out," which was released on YouTube today (watch it above). It was directed by Greek Mythology Productions which, according to Westword, is known for its nationally recognized drag queen videos.

How did my boyfriend and I become extras for this video? No we didn't audition. Aaron knows SPELLS singer Ben Roy, a comedian who stars in the truTV show Those Who Can't, which is based on teachers at a fictional Colorado high school. (Aaron is also a stand up comic in case you haven't read all my other blog posts gushing about him.)

Can't find me? I'll point myself out (below).
