Runza In Fort Collins Will Close Sunday For The Last Time

Yet another Fort Collins restaurant is calling it quits.  The Coloradoan is reporting that the Runza on South Lemay will close down for good this Sunday (October 20, 2013).

Fort Collins' Runza location is located at 2601 S. Lemay Avenue in the Scotch Pines shopping center. You can read what the restaurant owner's told the Coloradoan about the closing here. The good news is that they say the restaurant's workers have all found other jobs, but it's always sad to hear about people who put their heart and soul into a business that doesn't pan out.

Runza is a chain of restaurants that started in 1949 with their signature Runza sandwich. The closest Runza still in business is in Loveland at 2204 N. Lincoln Ave.

Runza was reviewed with 3-out-of-5 stars on Yelp, a 72% on Urban Spoon, 3.5-out-of-5 stars on Google reviews, and a 5-star rating on Menuism.
