Road Closures and What to Expect When CSU Hosts First Friday Night Home Game
Next week, the CSU Rams will be playing for the coveted Bronze Boot, as they take on the Wyoming Cowboys in an epic Border War. This year's rivalry game will be taking place at CSU's Canvas Stadium, with kick-off at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 26. With the game happening on a Friday instead of Saturday, a campus plan has been put into place for students and faculty, as well as parking and transportation. Students are expected to attend Friday classes.
Parking Lots
These parking lots will be closed all day on October 26: Lot 240 just west of Canvas Stadium on Pitkin, Lot 475 at Aylesworth Hall, Lot 236 at Newsom Hall, Lot 210R on Hughes Way East, Lot 165 at Green Hall/Scott Bioengineering, Lot 470 at Braiden Hall. All vehicles parked in these lots after 8 a.m. will be towed.
Cars must leave Morgan Library Lot 425 and Hartshorn Lot 412 by 3 p.m. and no new vehicles can enter after 1 p.m.
Parking in other university lots and the two garages is available until 3 p.m. All lots, garages, street and meter parking must be cleared of vehicles by 3 p.m. Towing and ticketing starts by 3:30 p.m.
A limited quantity of single-game parking is available in the Ram Lot, Lot 570 and the TILT Lot by purchase in advance through the CSU Ticket Office.
Bike Racks
The bike racks near the stadium will be removed Thursday evening, and relocated to Pitkin Street east of Canvas Stadium.
Transportation
Around the Horn shuttle service will be available across campus at all stops until 1 p.m. on Friday. After 1 p.m., the route will be shortened and serve the east side of campus, with continued service to the Research Boulevard lot until 5:15 p.m. At 5:15 p.m., Around the Horn will transition service to game day attendees, running only from Lake and College to Canvas Stadium.

Tailgating
Parking lots open to ticket holders by 5:30 p.m. This is when tailgating can begin, and includes the Coors Light Ram Walk Tailgate on Meridian, just north of Canvas Stadium.
