Rihanna's new video for her song "S&M" has not only sparked controversy, but now it is involved in a lawsuit. Photographer David LaChappelle is suing Rihanna claiming that she based her video on eight of his photographs. Days after the video was released, LaChapelle accused

Rihanna via Twitter of using his ideas without his consent. "The next time you make a David LaChapelle music video you should probably hire David LaChapelle." Each image uses a similar forced and distorted camera perspective. According to LaChapelle, the "S&M" video duplicated the "composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe, and lighting" of his images.
