Record Store Day Is This Saturday (April 20th, 2013) What Northern Colorado Stores Are Participating?

This Saturday is a big day for record stores. (Remember those places we all went when we were younger to buy music?) Thankfully there are still a few of them around and this Saturday, April 20th, 2013 they are celebrating Record Store Day!

What Northern Colorado stores will be participating?

• Rock 'N' Robin's in Fort Collins (804 S. College Ave.)
• Bizarre Bazaar in Fort Collins (254 Linden St.)
• Downtown Sound in Loveland (330 E 4th St.)
• Sgt. Peppers Music & Video in Estes Park (160 E. Elkhorn Ave.)

Record Store Day started back in 2007 when a group of independent record store owners and employees wanted to "celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding over 700 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally."

This is the sixth annual Record Store Day, what is so special about it? Well, you'll be able to find all kinds of special vinyl and CD releases from artists and promotional products that you won't find anywhere else and some stores will be throwing some pretty epic parties.
