If you need to get your Rasta Pasta fix than now is the time to do it... or at least for the time being. The restaurant, although now out of a location, is working to find a new location and be up and running in time for the return of CSU students from the summer.

Rasta Pasta has been working with their real estate agent in order to find a new location which they hope to be closer to the CSU campus to better serve it's student diners.

“We are in negotiations with a property right now, and if all goes well, we will be reopened in July, probably towards the end,” said Rasta Pasta's real estate agent.

The long-time Old Town Fort Collins restaurant held a closing celebration on Friday but will still remain open through next weekend.

It was announced some time ago that the Mexican restaurant La Luz will take over the lease for the corner building location on Walnut Street in Old Town Fort Collins. Since it's opening La Luz has occupied the unit right next door to Rasta Pasta which does not allow any patio space for patrons. There has been no agreements as to who will occupy the current La Luz location.
