When I was in high school, I took a theatre class (big surprise, right?).  One of my favorite things the teacher did was start every class with a short yoga routine.  It really helped calm everyone's energy, and we were always a lot more productive for the rest of the class.  And now, one school counselor is proving that it's never too early to bring that same technique into the classroom.

I used to have a lot of trouble focusing and getting work done, not just in first grade, but all the way up through high school.  Looking at this video, I can't help but think maybe six-year-old me should have tried some yoga!
