Prince is Suing Facebook Users

Musicians that attack their fans don't make any sense.

Prince is going after Facebook fans for something that I kind feel is kind of stupid.

He has filed a lawsuit against fans who took and shared links to his live concerts. 22 individuals are facing damage claims of up to $22 million. Only two of the 22 have been identified by their legal names.

Normally claims like this attack bootlegging websites but this is going after people who had just shared the link on their Facebook or google blogger.

The lawsuit states that the defendants engaged in massive infringement and bootlegging of Prince's material. It also states that Prince has suffered and is continuing to suffer damages and is going after each person for $1 million.

Not to sound like an ass, but I think he is pretty well off. In my eyes, I don't see this being a big deal. What are your thoughts?
