Police Investigating Murder-Suicide in Fort Collins
Who know what leads to these situations? Just before 5 a.m. this morning (4/23/15), a man shot his wife, then took a walk to commit suicide. It’s the city’s first murder in two years.

In the area of Timberline and Prospect this morning, Fort Collins police were called about a shooting. They arrived to find a woman dead. Later in the morning, that woman’s husband was found in the natural area near their home, himself dead of an apparent suicide.
From The Coloradoan:
That murder-suicide represented the first homicides to happen in the city in two years. On Oct. 5, Fort Collins Police Officer shot and killed Tino Martinez when Martinez pulled a gun on him. The officer's use of deadly force was later deemed justifiable by the Larimer County District Attorney's Office.
