PHOTOS: Fort Collins NightLights Tree Lighting Ceremony

The big blue tree once again sits on the corner of College Avenue and Mulberry Street.

The 23rd annual Realties for Children NightLights Tree became illuminated for the season during a special Dec. 1 event — hosted by your favorite Townsquare Media DJ's, Maxx, Dave Jensen and myself.

The tree does more than bring Christmas cheer to the Choice City. The NightLights tree is a fundraiser for Realities for Children, the local non profit that provides, services, programs and support for thousands of Northern Colorado youth annually.

A light on the tree can be sponsored for a $100 donation. An anonymous donor will match up to $10,000 with each donation made by Dec. 8 for Colorado Gives Day.
