Parents Steal Son’s Ashes From Funeral Home
I know funerals and everything related to them can be expensive, but stealing your son's ashes from a funeral home doesn't seem like the best way to honor your child's legacy.
According to KDVR, a couple in Connecticut showed up to a funeral home to collect the ashes of their 8-month-old son, but they snatched the ashes a left the funeral home without paying.
The director of the funeral home said that the couple owed less than $1,000 and they came in acting as if they had full-intention of paying the balance, but when he stepped out of the room the father wandered down a hallway, found his son's ashes, and then the couple split. (All of this was caught on surveillance video.)
There is not a sane, competent, or rational plan that starts with, "Let's steal our son's ashes."
