Even though Pallas's cats don't lay eggs, this cat is still protecting its egg. Look at this Pallas's cat protecting its egg at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Someone at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo gave this adorable (and angry looking) Pallas's cat an egg and now it won't let go. Even though it's not its baby, this cat is protecting it like it is.

Just look at the Pallas's cat stance over the egg. It's hunched over the egg, making sure it's protected between the cat's leg. The look on the cat's face just says 'don't even think about touching this egg, it's now my egg.'

Pallas's cats look equally mean as they do cute. Something in that cat's face tells me it's not messing around when it comes to its egg.

Its egg also happens to have a portrait of the Pallas's Cat and it looks like they have the same expression too. Like Pallas's cat, like hand-drawn egg? I can't wait for the day I get to see this little angry and adorable Pallas's cat.
