OKGo is famous for making some of the most creative music videos of the past decade, at least I think so. (See: 'Here it Goes Again',  'White Knuckles', 'End Love', 'This Too Shall Pass', 'Do What You Want', etc.)

Their latest endeavor was made in a partnership with Chevrolet where the band set up over 1,000 instruments over two miles of desert in California and played them all by driving a Chevy Sonic through the course with pneumatic arms and microphones attached to in.

Brilliant!

OKGo actually recorded the song ‘Needing/Getting’ in the car during the filming. (One of the guys even had to take stunt driving lessons before the shoot!) Their YouTube description claims video took four months of preparation and four days of shooting and recording to get it right.

I would have loved to see this production meeting. "Let's take an infinitely complex Rube Goldberg concept, add in some live music recording, and extreme off-road racing, and do it all at once."
