Do you know someone who is in the military?  How about a family in Northern Colorado who have sacrificed while their loved one is or was deployed? If you answered 'yes' to one of these questions you are in the minority.  Often times we don't know the names or faces of those who are serving or who have served except for maybe some quick B-roll footage on the television news while discussing the latest war.  We definitely do a much better job at recognizing, thanking, and supporting our current and past service members.  That's why when I read about Greenlight A Vet I just loved where their heart was.  A bunch of neighborhoods in Loveland will be participating, will you?

It's quite simple.  All you have to do is on Veterans Day change the lightbulb in your outdoor fixture to the color green.  Green is a color of hope, renewal and well-being and for one night will symbolize support for our veterans.

In addition to the many places around the Front Range that are offering discounts to veterans you can also see how you can help those currently deployed and their families here.
