Colorado law enforcement is asking residents to stop calling 911 with questions about the stay-at-home order that will take effect Thursday morning at 6 am.

But they're not the only ones who've been getting calls. All morning, we've been contacted in the studio from people who are confused about the rules and regulations in regard to the stay-at-home order and what that entails. Many are wondering if they can be pulled over just for driving outside.

However, while all these questions are valid and should definitely be answered before the order takes effect, the Colorado police are asking you to STOP calling 911 about it.

Sgt. Trevor Materasso with the Westminster Police Department said this to Denver 7:

Our dispatchers are receiving a tremendous number of calls related to general questions about the governor’s order and how that impacts them. It is very important that someone who needs access to police, fire, EMS are able to reach a dispatcher without delay.
