New Law Makes It Illegal for Strangers to Touch Pregnant Women’s Bellies

This is always one of those things I have heard about. The creepiness of people coming up to rub your pregnant belly.

I have never experienced this, but sometime down the road when my wife and I decided to have children I am going to have to deal with this.

There is some good news for Pennsylvania women though. A new law has just been put in effect that makes it illegal to touch a pregnant woman's belly without her consent.

Lawmakers made this official after a case happened where a man came up to a woman and rubbed her stomach. The guy was charged with harassment.

One would think that other states would start to follow.
