Don't like being sued? Then visit your parents!

China just passed new wording of a law that requires people to keep in touch with their elderly parents or, get sued for not taking care of them. This law came into effect because China is facing a difficulty in caring for the elderly.

The thing about this law is it doesn't specify how often people must visit or on the exact penalties. A professor from a University said,

It is mainly to stress the right of elderly people to ask for emotional support... we want to emphasize there is such a need.

The law is saying that the children with parents over 60 need to make sure that their dial, financial and spiritual needs are met.

What do you think about this law? I think that it is a great idea.
